Mighty local rock band Buzzard confirmed to play Saturday 3rd August at Rock The Beacon 2019. They will share the stage with many local talented bands with loads of Buzz around them in the Birmingham Live Music community.

The bands most popular music video to date is without doubt for their anthem song "Kamikaze", which features on the bands second album "Valium Gorillas", winning single of the month in Ryans Gig Guide, and has enjoyed receiving airplay and ongoing positive feedback since being uploaded to the bands YouTube music video playlist. The title for the album is actually a quote taken from an interview with Lemmy of Motörhead who once described his voice as being a gorilla on valium. - The album itself along with their debut album ‘’All Roads Lead To’’ is available to stream / download on Spotify, iTunes, Amazon etc, or can be mail ordered - Rating 4/5 review from ‘’The Rock Asylum’’.

The band are increasingly earning a strong reputation for being a live act that not only provide a tight energetic performance, but also encourage fun crowd engagement. Buzzard are an ever evolving interesting live band and pack a big musical punch for three passionate individuals, whom offstage are very approachable down to earth people who love to hang out with fans, meet amazing new people and enjoy good music. Check out the live date’s section for up and coming shows.

Buzzard have extensive live gigging experience in a variety of bill positions and venue types, performing both electric and acoustic (nationwide) and have a full professional live backline. Established 2012.

Interviews with the band: Sam Liddicott - Music Musings And Such Coven Radio

‘’This is loud music for loud people… support this band now!’’, ‘’their song Saturday Night TV lyrically is a joy to hear coming out of a cd player and as you would expect, its full of references to the brainwashing done every week by modern television’’, ‘’this album is a great introduction to Buzzard and has a very underground feel to it throughout’’ (Nick J. Townsend - Ryan's Gig Guide)

‘’The marvellous crunch of Saturday Night TV, surely set to become their anthem… this damnation of The X Factor complete with its line (pick up your guitar and grab your drums) exemplifies the DIY attitude perfectly’’, ‘’the song No Quit rumbles like Motorhead jamming out a Georgia Satellites song and as such is superb… And Friends & Foes (our only ballad smiles Jimmy) highlights a sensitive side’’ (Andy Thorley - Maximum Volume Music).

"You guys have a real connection and love in the ranks" (Sam Liddicott-musicmusingsandsuch)
